This season, sister design duo, Carol and Elizabeth Ai, were inspired by Kime Buzzelli’s haunting portraits of young women for their Fall 2011 Ai for Ai collection. Ironically, their collection was still brimming with feminine dresses. In fact, there was plenty to love in the lineup of loose, retro silhouettes, many of which featured color blocking and cut-outs.
