An underlying (or overt) sassiness often creeps into Fashion Spot forum members’ street style poses, but this week’s street style showed a lot of hints of sexiness, edginess, playfulness, or just plain sass when it came down to some of the actual clothes. Below are some of this week’s street style highlights, so read on to see what I mean.
BarbroAndersen wore a pair of tumbled knit shorts that she made herself with a sheer top by WeSC, a silk cardigan, thigh high stockings by Cubus, and a pair of thrifted strappy heels.
Katnani may have buttoned her top all the way up (a good choice), but the sheerness of the pastel blouse from H&M combined with the lace burgundy mini from Pull & Bear and thigh high stiletto boots by Stradivarius gave her outfit plenty of sass. Her necklace is by H&M, the clutch is Prada and the faux fur coat she eventually topped the outfit with is by Westrags.
Luna_supernova enjoyed New Zealand’s warm weather in a sheer dress by La Dama that she wore over a pair of shorts by Forever New. Her jaunty black hat was an ebay find and her shoes are from Urban Outfitters.
MimiV wore a simple black maxi dress from London with a vintage belt. Her faux fur jacket is a Kate Moss for Topshop piece, her shoes are Balenciaga, the sunglasses are Sunettes and her handbag is another vintage find.
Liina can’t help but look a bit sassy whenever she wears her color blocked faux fur coat from Asos. Her shorts are vintage Levis, her shirt is by Second Female, the shoes are Jeffrey Campbell Lita booties, and her enviable handbag is a classic Chanel Jumbo Flap.
Voguelover94 may have been dressing for her exams, but that doesn’t mean she stopped making an effort. Her black chiffon dress is her own design, and she topped it with a sequin-embellished hand-me-down cardigan and a thrifted belt. She finished off the look with black and white Oxfords by Rivers and a pair of black sheer tights with a design scrolling up the calf.
Juneping hit the streets of New York City in Isabel Marant Etoile’s Doogi dress and Sergio Rossi boots. She stayed warm in an Armani jacket topped by a furry black vest by Michael Kors.
In France, Alyssa-K’s black ensemble was a mix of weights and textures. Her thick knit sweater and faux leather shorts are both from H&M, and the unexpected choice of lace tights are by Jennyfer.
Take one look at Zarina’s ensemble and it’s easy to see where the sass comes from. Her little black dress is from Karen Millen, the cheetah print tights are by Wolford, and her black patent pumps are by Jimmy Choo.
