Velvet, one of the most prevalent trends in Milan and everywhere else this season, was shown printed and cut into slinky fishtail gowns and tailored outerwear. The ubiquitous peplums made a number of appearances, sometimes acting as a leather corset worn over a dress. While the collection was signature Etro, there were elements of the season’s most popular trends throughout. Military notions were shown alongside kaleidoscope prints and intricate embellishments. All together, it was a very strong statement, but deconscruted there are a few standout looks that are sure to be editorial hits.
