Tired of pacing in front of your closet, wondering what to wear? If you’re already bored with your new fall/winter picks, fret not, there are a few staples you can add to your workwear that can give your wardrobe a lift and cut your get-ready time in half. The key, one stylist suggests, is careful shopping.
“Spend time choosing the right pieces, ones that give you the most impact, best fit and longevity,” says stylist Nadia Pizzimenti. “That way you freshen up your look for the season, while building a strong wardrobe that will last you for years to come.” Now that’s advice we can get behind.
This season, Pizzimenti says the key pieces you need to buy for the office include the pencil skirt, the wrap duster coat and the cropped trouser. Things to get rid of? Those old, stained, ripped camisoles, T-shirts and blouses. “These are all easily replaceable, and affordable,” says Pizzimenti. “Nobody wants to see a yellow armpit sleeve.”
Flip through the collection below for the top silhouettes from the Judith & Charles Fall 2014 offering, filled with dressed-up shifts and office-appropriate separates you’ll need at arm’s reach this season. Whether you’re working away at your cube or getting dolled up for a holiday party, trust us, you’ll be looking sharp by adding a few staples to your wardrobe.
