Last year, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wed in a beautiful ceremony in Florence, so you know that the pair with a penchant for fanfare and excess are going to celebrate the most important union of all time in the most public and possibly traffic-causing manner possible. Rumors are swirling that Kimye are going to renew their vows this year at the Eiffel Tower. According to Us Weekly, the pair is renting out the Parisian landmark, whose 58 Tour Eiffel has been “reserved for a private event.”
Sounds like a lovely affair, begging for the perfect anniversary gift. And fortunately, there is one, thanks to illustrator Zak Tebbal who has created the most perfect illustrated work outlining Kimye’s great romance. Bound 2Gether is a children’s book telling the story of the famous couple based on a lyric sung by Kanye during a live performance of Bound 2: “One good chick is worth a thousand chickens.”
The tale starts with Kim, a fluffy yellow chick, and Kanye, a god among men (or in this case, chickens), who had a great little friendship until Kim sees Kanye playing with other chickens and gets upset. She runs away and when Kanye realizes she’s gone, he hunts for her. The two eventually find each other and Kanye learns a valuable lesson in the process.
Such an adorable little tome can serve as consolation for the Wests, whose names have been excluded from the cover of Vogue‘s special Met Gala issue. Starring Rihanna on the cover, the issue lists several celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Lopez and George and Amal Clooney – but not Kimye. Some are speculating that the pair was left off the cover as punishment for violating Anna Wintour’s selfie ban, but we think Vogue has made it quite clear that they are very much pro-Kimye.
