Inside the Graduate Fashion Week Exhibition 2015 in London

The best thing about Graduate Fashion Week is not only checking out the runway shows to try and spot the next big future designer, but also exploring its exhibition. It presents you with the chance to get closer to the designs than the runway shows allow, whilst gaining a better, more visual idea of the designers’ inspirations thanks to the surrounding mood boards and sketchbooks on display. Plus, there’s also the opportunity to have a quick chat with the lecturers and get a real feel for each university. All in all, it’s a much more fulfilling experience than simply watching a three-minute runway show.

So as this year’s Graduate Fashion Week descended upon Brick Lane’s The Old Truman Brewery in London’s hipster Shoreditch district, it was almost compulsory for us to wander around the exhibition and snap a few of our favourite finds. We were welcomed by creative artist Ant Carver painting a colourful picture of model Erin O’Connor. Judging by the quality of the work on display, there’s a bright future ahead for many of these aspiring designers and we wish them all the very best of luck. Take a look through a few of our favourite pieces from the exhibition in the slideshow below.
