The small-town folk of Stars Hollow are set to return to our TV screens, bringing back all that mother-daughter bonding we’ve so terribly missed.
TV Line reports that Gilmore Girls is getting a limited series revival through Netflix, with series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino to write four 90-minute episodes. The source also wants to strongly emphasise that “This is not a drill”.

Cast negotiations are also understood to be just beginning, with all the vital cast, like Lauren Graham as Lorelai, Alexis Bledel as Rory, Kelly Bishop as Emily Gilmore and Scott Patterson as Luke, returning to their iconic roles.
Even with all these glorious Stars Hollow residents making a comeback, there will be one role almost impossible to fill, after Lorelai’s father and Rory’s grandfather, Edward Herrmann, died in July this year.
We’re not sure how anyone is meant to “Netflix and chill” with this series coming back on air, because we’ll probably be more in the realm of Netflix and freaking-the-heck-out. Are you with us?
