Top models are always welcome sights on magazine covers, especially now. Recently, we encountered sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid on Vogue Paris. Vogue Hong Kong is getting in on the action with Natalia Vodianova. We’ve been keeping a watchful eye on the publication since its debut back in 2019, but haven’t exactly been overwhelmed with its covers lately despite starring Naomi Campbell and Joey Yung. Now Natalia graces Vogue Hong Kong’s double edition for Summer 2020 posing wearing pieces from Fendi’s Pre-Fall 2020 collection for a trio of covers captured by Luigi & Iango.
Surprisingly, the covers failed to hit the spot for the majority of our forum members. “Vogue Hong Kong constantly surprises me with how they can make something look cheap without even trying. Everything looks amateur — from the styling to the hair and art direction,” critiqued MON.
“There’s definitely something off. The photography is nothing new or exciting. Styling is boring, too. I used to love Natalia’s work, but nowadays she doesn’t give me that energy,” voiced misszk.

“Happy for Natalia, but Luigi & Iango are so boring. Photographers are supposed to have their style, but they take it to the next level because everything is always the same. The hair, makeup and excessive Photoshop, they are a one-trick pony,” declared KateTheGreatest.
Also not into it was vogue28: “Always down for BOTH Natalia Vodianova and Luigi & Iango, but can’t say these three covers quite cut it for me.”
But not everyone felt the same way. “Three great covers,” applauded jal718.
“The first and last cover are stellar! Luigi & Iango and Natalia…what’s there not to like?” asked aracic.
