Versace Puts Together an All-Star Cast for Its Spring 2021 Campaign

Versace recently unveiled a mid-season campaign starring Adut Akech and Imaan Hammam. But the brand just dropped the good stuff with its official Spring 2021 campaign. In stark contrast to the underwater utopia presented during Milan Fashion Week, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott remain in the studio for the latest set of ads capturing an impressive cast consisting of Precious Lee, Mona Tougaard, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner and Mica Argañaraz. Each pose before a gray backdrop sporting soaking wet hair letting Versace’s signature Trésor de la Mer print and new La Medusa handbag take center stage.

The campaign became an instant hit on our forums. “It looks very trashy glam, I love it,” heralded kokobombon.

Forum member fluxxx shared the exact same sentiment: “It’s so tacky, I kinda like it!”

“I have to say this is the closest Versace has come to getting their trademark glossy, hypersexuality back…” approved Benn98.

“This is the only good campaign thus far this season. Hailey actually looks amazing here…” added cheapthrills.

“The real shocker of this whole campaign is how well Kendall Jenner has photographed (her shot perhaps being my fave out of the bunch). I love all the black and how commanding her stare is (especially given Jenner’s lackluster track record),” vogue28 chimed in.

“Precious and Mona’s shoulders must be hurting from carrying this campaign,” proclaimed THD96.

But not everyone felt the same way. “The whole thing just comes off lazy and I’m not a fan of ‘here’s/buy the bag’ poses, especially when the bags presented are questionable,” voiced Ken Doll Jenner.

“I can’t even focus on the pictures, I’m too distracted by those embarrassingly ugly bags,” said apple.
