Let’s face it: fashion is full of fads. Look at fanny packs, bike shorts and necklace bags. (Of course, the first two recently experienced a minor renaissance.) The latest kitschy item to blow up? Surprisingly, water bottle holders are all the rage.
Seems like every major fashion house has their own version(s). Fendi, for example, sent a raffia one connected to a large raffia tote down its Spring 2021 runway. The brand also has a few more colorful options. Jacquemus, Chloe, Marine Serre, Acne Studios, Burberry and Balenciaga have also hopped on the holder bandwagon.
A quick word of warning. Not all holders come with water bottles included. But that can actually be a good thing. Since most of us already own water bottles, you can save yourself some bucks by just indulging in the carrier. Just make sure to check the dimensions to ensure your current bottle will fit snugly.
