At British Harper’s Bazaar, Lydia Slater continues to give the magazine’s front covers to subjects who’ve never graced the title before. Throughout her tenure, the publication has endorsed everyone from Francesca Hayward to Lucan Gillespie to Iman to Phoebe Dynevor and Cara Delevingne. Now Rose Leslie makes her debut as a Bazaar cover star for June 2022 posing for Alexi Lubomirski on the grounds of England’s historic Syon Park. The actress wears an Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2022 dress chosen by Miranda Almond for the charming cover image.

Although not everyone felt the same way. “The elements are there for a good cover, but somehow the result is just…amateur hour,” critiqued an underwhelmed KINGofVERSAILLES.
