Sneak Peek: Agent Provocateur Launches Daytime Fragrances

This week, the high-end lingerie brand Agent Provocateur debuted their first collection of day fragrances, all of which are based on their cult fave signature scents. Using lighter and more subtle versions of many of the same notes found in their existing nighttime fragrances – Eau de Parfum, Maitresse, and L’Agent – each feminine scent was created with daytime wear in mind.

Surrounded by trays of champagne, piles of macaroons, and red and black (yes black!) rose petals, I sampled the three scents and was immediately drawn to Maitresse, which I was told was the all-around women’s favorite that night. The men, according to the sales assistant I spoke with, were gravitating towards Eau Provocateur.

The new Eau Provocateur Collection from Agent Provocateur officially launches April 15 and each 50ml Eau de Toilette Spray bottle will retail for $70. The collection includes:

  • Agent Provocateur Eau Provocateur, which has citrus and red fruit tops notes, an array of fresh new florals such as Muguet and Orange Flower make up the heart of the fragrance, while Myrrh, Vanilla, and Tonka Bean are the base notes.
  • Agent Provocateur L’Agent Eau Provocateur opens with subtle citrus accords of Bergamot, Leaf Accord, Mandarin, Apple, Melon, and Peach. Rose, Jasmin, Tuberose, Magnolia, Freesia, and Ylang make up the heart of the scent and Musk, Patchouli, Sandalwood, and Amber Crystals make up its base.
  • Agent Provocateur Maitresse Eau Provocateur has top notes that include Rose, Jasmin Sambac, and Iris; middle notes include hints of Acacia (a thorny shrub), Granny Smith Apples, while Amber, Sandalwood, and Tonka make-up the scent’s base.
