Reliable sunscreens aren’t as easy to come by as many think (hence the FDA getting involved). This new one from Elizabeth Arden not only has the scientific data and studies to back up its effectiveness, but the formulation comes in a unique, specially designed tube with its own built-in brush. The brush applicator was specifically created to ensure more even coverage – just click open, squeeze, and apply (this is especially useful when applying the product on your own as it makes hard-to-reach areas more readily accessible).

This scent could easily have smelled cheap (and there are countless heavy-on-coconut beach-themed scents that do), but it doesn’t. In fact, not only does the mix of jasmine, sea spray, and mandarin smell exactly like a beach, it’s completely transporting. A new addiction to working out in 105-plus degrees has confirmed what I already knew – sweating is a surefire way to breakout. Philosophy’s newest collection will effectively fight breakouts (I’m hoping they come out with some complementary body products) and unlike most other salicylic acid-based products, these don’t smell bad or feel like they’re zapping your skin’s moisture, though if you use all four of the products, expect some dryness for a few weeks.
