Celeb Edition: Inspire Your Braids with these Gorgeous Celeb Looks
Blake Lively's Fishtail Braid
Stars like Blake Lively prove that going the simple route when it comes to braids is actually a dead-end. Especially at fancy events like the red carpet, where big-time celebs like Ms. Lively (aka Mrs. Reynolds) are known to put their fashion-forward on and dazzle. Get Blake Lively's fierce braid by following these easy-steps.
Start by dividing your hair into two equal sections. Now pick a one-eighth inch chunk from the left side and cross it over to the inside of the right section. Repeat the process but with the opposite side. Continue picking up small sections and crossing them over until you reach the ends of your hair. Note: a fishtail braid looks nicer when it's longer.

Lea Michele's Relaxed Braid
There is something to be said about messy/effortless hair that exudes a natural, soft type of beauty. To get Lea Michelle 's relaxed loose braid, start by applying a texture-enhancing spray or gel all over your hair. Then blow-dry, teasing the hair from root to tip to add volume. Finish by pulling the hair into a loose braid that will highlight your face and neck. To keep this look looking effortless, make sure to stick with a clear elastic that will blend right into your hair.

Kristen Stewart's Messy French Braid
While Kristen Stewart is hardly every seen without her messy side part (that admittedly we dig), it was this messy French braid that had us coveting the starlet's mane more than ever. To get Kristen's casual look, it's best to begin with unwashed hair so the style will hold longer. Tease your hair with a comb to add volume, which is key to getting the messy part of the 'do down pat. Now separate a small section of hair where you want the braid to start and divide it into three even sections. Cross the right section over the middle section, so that the original right section is now the middle. Repeat the same process with the left. Next, lift a small section of hair to the right of your braid and add that new, small section of hair to the existing section on the right. Then cross the entire right section over the middle section. Continue the process, alternating right and left sections and tightening the braid each time you cross a section over the middle.

Dianna Agron's Romantic Twist
Nothing says pretty like a romantic 'do and in Dianna Agron 's case, this is as pretty as it gets. To copy Dianna's feminine braided updo, separate a chunk of hair from the side of your face. Secure the rest of your locks into a soft, romantic styled bun. Now begin braiding the remaining chunk all the while interweaving it within the braid. Secure with neutral colored bobby pins.

Amanda Seyfried's Fancy 'Do
Since Amanda Seyfried 's gorgeous hair is almost always down for big events (who can blame her?), it's a real treat to see her sporting a sophisticated updo every so often. Plus, we can't get over how gorgeous this fancy braid looks on the Les Miserables star. To get this beautiful braid, you need to work with a lot of hair, a process that might even require extensions.
