Go Coral for Spring Like Natalie Dormer

Where: The premiere of the third season of Game of Thrones

Why we like it: Coral is one of our favorite colors for spring beauty. The old standby is easier to wear than this season’s trendy pop of pink and it’s perfect for a bright daytime look such as this.

How to get it at home: Start by using a very subtle base, simply correcting any tone irregularies with a CC cream, such as Clinique’s Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Colour Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30, $35. If need be, cover any remaining imperfections with a concealer, such as NARS’ Radiant Creamy Concealer, $28. You want as much of your skin’s natural texture to shine through as possible.

Using BECCA’s Ultimate Eye Colour Quad in Sun Chaser, $40, use the lightest color as a base for your lid and use the darker shade to blend into the crease, the outer third, and under the lower lash line. Using an angled brush, bring the shadow to a slight peak in the inner corner but making sure to keep it off the waterline. Finish off your eyes with a volumizing mascara, such as Lancome’s Hypnose Star Waterproof 24 Hour Mascara, $28, or fluttery false lashes if you’re wearing the look for night. Using a big fluffy brush, bronze the high points of your face using Urban Decay’s Naked Flushed, $30, then blend the colors together for a subtle cheek color.

The last step is to recreate Natalie’s matte coral lip. We love Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics’ Lip Tar in Cha Cha, $18, which not only packs a major pigment but lasts all day long.
