Why we like it: Throughout this press tour, Emma has made some excellent fashion and beauty choices, but we love how she paired a flirty minidress with a more sophisticated beauty look here. It’s always interesting to watch child stars grow into their style, and Emma’s direction is near flawless.
How to get it at home: With a look such as this, with high impact eyes, very flushed cheeks and a bold lip, it’s important not to overload the skin with foundation. There’s already a lot going on so try a sheer, tone-evening base, such as Clinique’s Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Colour Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($35), and blend it well into the skin. Cover any remaining visible imperfections with concealer but don’t cake it on as you want as much of your skin to show through as possible. Set your brows in place using Anastasia’s Brow Fix, ($21) which holds the hairs in place without adding extra color.
To get Emma’s shimmery eye makeup, try using cream based shadows, such as Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics’ Creme Colour Concentrate in Pleasure Model ($20), and blend it well across the lid and under the lower lash line. Next, accent the shimmering pink with a bit of silver shadow, such as Lancome’s Color Design Infinite in 601 Unlimited Silver ($24.50). Finish off your eyes with a bold volumizing mascara, such as Make Up For Ever’s Smoky Extravagant Mascara ($24).
It’s rare that a featured element of a look is blusher but Emma’s flushed cheeks definitely stand out. Try using Josie Maran’s Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee in Pink Escape ($22), blending it well from the apple of the cheek up to the cheekbone to get the look. Finish off the look with a bold matte lipstick, such as Bite Beauty’s High Pigment Matte Pencil ($24).
