After a long few weeks of shows we’re at the end and what a way to go. In Paris we saw a mixed bag of natural looks with a few crazies thrown in, but these few had us itching for our makeup kits.

The cornerstone of Parisian style is that effortless sophistication. This look translates that mentality into makeup. With clean skin, a shaded eye and subtle gloss, this look perfectuly sums up easy luxury.

We're a sucker for a red lip, especially one as well defined as this. This classic look, with its matte skin and winged liner, can often look like a mask but paired with a bold scarf and undone updo it becomes a bit more modern here.

Balmain
When you think of Balmain you don't exactly picture a minimalist girl-next-door but this natural look just screams sophisticated Parisian chic. Channel your inner Emanuelle Alt.

We don't advocate sleeping in your makeup but this slept-in smoky eye is a welcome imitation. We love the creased and smudged quality of the eyeliner.

What makes Paris stand out this season is the hair. Every city has had its standout looks but in Paris they went one step further. We love this rolled updo that's just a bit undone. It's vintage but not retro.

We're a sucker for a bold brow/lip combo and this orange-red is our pick for the color of the season. Many women find orange hard to wear on the lips but with just a touch of red, it transforms into an easily wearable shade.

This may seem like just another bare-faced look but what caught our eye was the contouring. With a warmer peachy tone, rather than the traditional ash, the 3 shape contour around the hairline, cheekbones and jaw adds warmth and definition.

This hairstyle might be a bit too much for every day but the essence of the look is completely wearable. Forget waiting until spring, we'll be trying this taupe eye as soon as possible.

Rochas
Whether you like it or not, this shaded eye is a standout trend of the season. The Rochas version is a muted plum but try a more neutral color for a wearable alternative.

THE BROWS. End of story. They're not wearable but they're a great reminder to add more gold to your everyday makeup.
