Backstage at NYFW: Psychedelic Polka Dot Manis and Bright Eyes at Honor

Makeup artist Polly Osmond for Beauty.com used Kevyn Aucoin Cosmetics to create the good-girl-gone-bad theme backstage. She prepped the skin first with vbeauté’s It Kit ($99) and then giving the models a natural look for the skin and lips. When it came to the eyes, Osmond went over the lids with Kevyn Aucoin’s eye pencil in Defining Navy ($26) and went all out with mascara, using countless coats on the top and bottom lashes.

When you looked at the manicures from afar, they look girly and classic, but up close you get the contrasting effect Nonie Creme was going for. She nicknamed the hand-mixed color she paired with mini pearls in the shape of a star “psychedelic polka dots.”
