Madonna’s MDNA Skin Line Will Soon Be Available in the US

Perhaps nothing’s more American than Madonna (we’re ignoring that long stretch when she spoke with a British accent). From “Material Girl” to “Like a Prayer,” the Michigan-bred star is a music and fashion institution, but when it comes to skin care, she’s a relative unknown — at least in the U.S.

Madge has a line of luxury serums and masks called MDNA Skin that’s only available in Japan — until next month, that is. On September 26, the range will hit Barneys stores in New York City and Beverly Hills, Barneys.com and MDNA Skin’s new U.S. site.

If you’re interested in giving her products a try, start saving up now. While The Face Wash will set you back $50, the Rejuvenator Set that comes complete with a Chrome Clay Mask featuring thermal waters and fango clay from Montecatini, Italy, a Skin Rejuvenator magnetic tool, mask removing sheets, a stand, spatula and cleaning cloth will cost a whopping $600. Although still expensive, picks like The Serum ($240), The Rose Mist ($120) and The Eye Serum ($120) will do less damage to your wallet.

THE EYE SERUM + THE EYE MASK. A pillowy heaven for your eyes.

The singer is pretty partial to the eye masks ($50 to $120). “I use the eye masks, I throw them in the freezer so they are icy cold. I sleep on my face so when I wake up my eyes are always puffy so I really need them. I put them on for a couple of minutes before I get out of bed. As they thaw out on your face, the ice aspect reduces inflammation and the serum has the hyaluronic acid in it,” she confessed to WWD.

Realizing those of us here in the States may be hesitant to drop big bucks on a new line, MDNA Skin is reportedly developing a less cost-prohibitive diffusion line, which is expected to premiere Fall 2018. “Snack-size” options (as opposed to “travel-size”) will also be available down the road.

But the expansion doesn’t stop there. Madge revealed to WWD that she has her sights set on men’s grooming as well as products “connected more to color.”
