While a very different species of undead marched on Wall Street yesterday, Carine Roitfeld‘s very closest, most very famous friends got all dolled up as the world’s most fashionable monsters (what else is new? nyuk, nyuk) and gathered in Paris to celebrate the end of this season’s runway shows and the launch of the former Paris Vogue editor’s new book, Irreverent.
Even though fashion’s true believers are supposed to be ahead-of-the-curve, the guests at Carine’s party jumped on the vampire bandwagon several franchises late. To complain some more, for an event that was ostensibly a book launch, there was nary a tome around. All that being said, gimme some models all glammed up with super-dark red lips and I might as well just die from joy.
