We’re waiting with baited breath to see how Carine Roitfeld adjusts to her grandmother duties, but I’m betting that it’ll be adorable. No one knows how to handle life changes more elegantly than the stylist and famed former editor of Paris Vogue.
Carine apparently told Stefano Tonchi that she’d want to be called “Madame” instead of “grand-mere.” Last time I was chatting with Stefano Tonchi, I told him that I wanted to be called the Supreme Queen Nika of Brooklynbury, but it never caught on. Hopefully Carine has better luck!
