To promote her upcoming magazine, the CR Fashion Book, and rack up some digital issue pre-sales, Carine Roitfeld posted a pretty amateurish GIF of Dutch model Juliet Ingleby wearing nothing but a sheer fuschia scarf and fire engine red pumps, strutting through a graveyard with a leatherclad entourage. The image was photographed by Sebastian Faena and styled by Roitfeld herself, of course. The fuschia and red trend has been around for long enough that it isn’t truly surprising, but it’s still for sure striking, probably because Roitfeld’s the first person to bring our attention to the color combo’s true mourning potential.
"Great cover, quite impactful."
