Jennifer Hawkins Strips Down to a Skirt and a Smize for the February Issue of Harper’s Bazaar

The well-timed issue hits shelves just as filming commences for ANTM cycle eight. Jennifer was chosen to replace former host Sarah Murdoch in November, having much prior experience with live television and the inner workings of headsets. The winner of cycle eight will go on to land her own Harper’s cover as part of her journey to become the next Montana Cox

But being young, successful and really ridiculously good looking isn’t always the most effective way to win fans. Over in the forums, commenters are finding much to fault about the Simon Lekias-lensed cover despite being ready to admit that Jennifer is a veritable babe no matter how much or how little she’s wearing.

Perhaps the cover could have been improved if she had spent/wasted some valuable time with Tyra Banks’ smizing app, with some saying her face looks awkward. Jmrmartinho doesn’t mind the idea but thinks, “The execution is what is bothering me, she looks really uncomfortable,” and samoanceleb echoing the sentiment. Others like birdyandme appreciate the “cool and crisp” hues and the beachy texture of her hair and skirt.

Is JHawk being unfairly blasted or is the cover really quite bad?
