For its October/November Issue, our friends at RUSSH turned their lens on fashion itself, hoping to catch a glimpse of where we are now and where we’re going. Along that theme, the Australian fashion publication dedicated its beauty pages to exploring a key item from one of our leading fashion houses: a sheer latex skirt from Burberry’s Fall 2013 collection, originally modeled by Cara Delevingne
“Inspired by the tan latex skirt from Burberry Prorsum’s AW13 collection, our latest beauty story plays with transparency — what you show and what you don’t,” the RUSSH team told us. “Makeup artist Victoria Baron works on summer skin with tones of burgundy and tan, matched with a dark lip.”
The editorial features model Liah Cecchellero, photographed by James Nelson (styling credits go to Billie Iveson, with hair by Diane Gorgievski), and includes beauty notes, so you can achieve the sleek, dramatic bronzed look at home.
Tan the face with Becca Translucent Bronzing Gel. Brush and set brows with M.A.C. Brow Set in Clear and cover the face with Goe Oil. Saturate the hair with Original & Mineral Frizzy Logic. Use a wide- tooth comb to separate hair and mould into shape.

Prep the skin with The Moisturising Soft Cream by La Mer. Apply M.A.C. Face and Body Foundation then contour under the cheekbones and jawline with Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate. Curl lashes with the Shu Uemera Eyelash Curler. On lips, apply Make Up Forever Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner Pencil in Purple 13C all over lips, layer with Tom Ford Scarlett Rouge and apply M.A.C. Clear Lip Lacquer. Finish with a light dusting of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal for a velvet finish. Model wears Michael Kors GLAM JASMINE Eau de Parfum.
Prep wet hair with Shu Uemura Ample Angora mousse and dry using a diffuser. Brush hair with a Mason Pearson brush then add Schwarzkopf OSiS Dust It powder for texture. Style hair as desired then spray hair and pieces around hairline with Shu Uemura Sheer Lacquer.
