One user in the sometimes rowdy and always hilarious Livejournal community, Fashin, has tracked down more evidence of photo manipulation on Kerr’s Instagram account. It’s damning.
The two shots below (left, Instagram / right, a photo service) were taken from slightly different angles, but in Miranda’s version, the giveaway isn’t just her narrower waist, it’s her weirdly distorted fingers.
A curved line in the otherwise rigid pattern of the carpet, which appears close to Kerr’s body. Anyone who’s ever used the Smudge tool in Photoshop knows how something like this could have happened…

[Update: Over the weekend, Kerr posted a response to Instagram, denying accusations that she had airbrushed the original Victoria’s Secret photo: “Hi guys, here is the original VS image! When I re-posted the photo this week to support the girls I screen grabbed it off the internet when I was working in Japan. I had no idea it was photoshopped. All good intentions- sorry for the confusion and congratulations to the girls for such a great show!”]
