It appears that Marc Jacobs has been wearing the same outfit for days in a row. As eagle-eyed tFSer ChanelCouture09 noticed, the designer appeared at his runway show last night wearing the same burgundy Adidas track pants and matching red long-sleeve top that he wore to attend Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley‘s debut Marc by Marc Jacobs show on Tuesday.
Last February, Jacobs took his bow wearing silk Prada pajamas, a cute (and effective) publicity stunt for his label. This time around, Jacobs’ display of leisurewear seems less like a style statement than an “I don’t care what I look like” statement. Was Jacobs so devoted to completing his collection that he couldn’t find the time to change? Or is this simply his “passionate creative genius” look? A plug for Adidas? A sign that he’s transitioning into a Saturday morning cartoon character? Could be anything.
