25-year-old Peaches Geldof was found dead at her home in Kent at 1:35 PM today, leaving behind a husband (Thomas Cohen, lead singer of rock band S.C.U.M) and two young sons. The model, journalist and television personality was the daughter of Paula Yates, the late TV presenter, and legendary activist folk singer Bob Geldof.
In a statement confirming her death, her father wrote: “We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us…What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?”
Police have provided no details into her death, saying it is currently being treated as “unexplained and sudden.”
