Grace Coddington’s First Instagram is a Topless Self Portrait

Her first ‘gram could have been a selfie–apropos since everyone at Vogue seems so obsessed with selfie culture–but it’s not. Coddington instead posted a self-portrait of her doing a little topless sunbathing, wearing nary but a pair of sunglasses and high heels. The image is part of an auction for Paddle 8 called “No Clothes,” a collection of nudes curated by Coddington. Bidding for the pieces, which includes works by Mario Testino, Steven Meisel and Peter Lindbergh, is currently closed, but they’re still pretty to look at.

At any rate, we’re geeked to know that Coddington’s snaps will be popping up in our Insta-timelines from now on.
