You know when André Leon Talley does an interview, you’re bound for a lively exchange…and this chat with Zac Posen is no exception. The Zappos Couture artistic director sat down with the designer for the latest installment of his weekly series for ZeeCee, to preview the stunning Fall 2014 collection in Posen’s design lair.
The two exchange banter over a few select styles from the season, modeled by Anna Cleveland: an architectural curve-hugging multi-colored tweed dress, a slinky LBD that Posen and Talley dub the “stealth bombshell dress” and a beautiful tent-like coat with a billowing bodice and impossibly narrow sleeves.
Watch Talley gush over Posen’s large, exquisite ball gowns and spun-from-the-gods fabrics in the workroom. And if you don’t tune in for any other reason, do it for that oversized gold charm necklace swinging from ALT’s distinguished neck. It’s a doozy.
