Nicole Bridger x Zoë Pawlak Create Wearable Art

Collaborations are all the rage this summer, but if Mara Hoffman x Havaianas isn’t quite your thing, you may be interested in something special a little closer to home.

Vancouver based Nicole Bridger, best known for her dynamic fashion line of ethical materials, has recently partnered with local artist Zoë Pawlak to create five custom fabrics for her spring/summer collection, which she dubs “Ready for Love.” Fuchsia pink, electric blue and vibrant chartreuse tones dominate the line, consisting of a silk crepe kimono Jacket, pink silk shorts, attention-grabbing joggers, a blue button-front dress and the dramatic floor-length silk “Inspire” dress fit for any summer romance.

There are around 55 pieces in all, each providing an effective and beautiful canvas for Pawlak’s striking paintings, the portions of which have been enlarged for a bold look. The full collection was showcased earlier this May in an East Vancouver soiree, but thankfully we can snap up all the pieces online at Nicole Bridger’s store (ranging from $142 to $234). I simply adore all the loosey-goosey designs, but feel like this Samantha Dress really speaks to me.
