Fame: On the outside it’s all glitz, glamour and free clothes, but being a celebrity is not without its risks. Just ask Kim Kardashian, who was attacked today right before entering the Balmain show. The reality star was just casually minding her business, trying to exit her chauffeured car with husband Kanye West and mom Kris Jenner. Naturally, there was a mob around the vehicle, but things got out of hand when a crazed assailant came toward Kim, attempting to pull her down to the ground by her legs.
Kris was getting out of the car on the same side as Kim. When she saw her daughter being attacked, she immediately went ferocious mama bear all over the guy’s ass, screaming in a fit of passion, “STOP IT.” Plus, it looks like she even got in a few kicks after security wrestled him to the ground.
Kim got away from the scene unscathed, but we think it’s safe to say that the real winner in this situation is Kris, who looked like she was about to take her earrings off and get to snuffin’. Seriously — she seemed to be ready to throw down in her expensive designer duds, and we don’t blame her. Call it maternal instinct.
The attacker is believed to be Vitalii Sediuk, the fellow who routinely pranks celebrities on the red carpet. He’s the guy who tried to kiss Will Smith on the red carpet, an act that got him smacked in the face by the actor. Vitalii’s pranked tons of celebs, but announced that he was retiring from his sophomoric antics earlier this year. Looks as if he simply couldn’t leave the game alone.
