Any fashion maven worth her lambskin biker jacket can tell you that stylish outerwear is as integral to your overall look as an iconic bag. Better yet, let Elisa Dahan and Eran Elfassy, creative directors of the outerwear and accessories brand Mackage, tell you. On October 18, the design duo will make an appearance at an exclusive trunk show at high-end men’s destination Harry Rosen Yorkdale from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to unveil some select Spring 2015 styles. And they’ll follow it up on October 25 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Holt Renfrew Yorkdale, where shoppers will be able to pre-order the collection.
The spring collection takes inspiration from the bustling metropolis, evoking the feeling of excitement that pulsates within a world-class city. The result is functional outerwear with an injection of attitude. Traditional styles like the moto jacket and the bomber will be punched up in shades of bright pink, electric yellow and cobalt blue, and inventive new silhouettes will elevate the brand’s heritage while taking it into modern territory befitting the stylish traveller.
On October 22, Mackage will unveil the new spring outerwear styles as well as its burgeoning handbag collection (launched in 2013) on the runway at Toronto’s World MasterCard Fashion Week.
