Giuliana Rancic just did something very nice and career-shaping for Alex Perry at today’s 2014 American Music Awards. The E! host chose one of his designs for the event’s star-studded red carpet, and, much to Alex’s delight, styled the show-stopping piece to perfection.

The piece was from the label’s popular Spring 14 collection, loved for its use of contrasting and its varsity colour palette. Giuliana’s piece was a one-shouldered long-sleeved gown in navy, black and white, with textured crocodile-like panels, which looked divine on her statuesque frame.
She broke things up with a skinny black belt around the waist, and added to-die-for black strappy heels and a box clutch for chic elegance. A sharp side-parted do and dark-red lips had Giuliana looking extremely polished. We’re guessing Alex, otherwise known as Australia’s favourite sunglasses-on-head couturier, is one happy camper right now.
