Kanye West ditched his full-blown blonde wife, Kim Kardashian, to hang out with Lorde and her mum for Paris Fashion Week’s Christian Dior show instead. Don’t worry, he sorted the 18-year-old’s smize-game first, but it was Lorde’s mother that brought real comedy value to the outing.
Sonya Yelich, aka “mother of the lorde”, got super excited about the Parisian adventure which lined up with her 50th birthday. She popped a couple of photos of the musical pair to her Instagram, getting real mum-style with hashtags like “#photobyme“, “#ourfirsttimeatParisFashionWeek“, “#KanyeIsGod” and “#3gocrazyinparis“.
It sounded all-time. But the real question is, where was Kim and what is the New Zealander doing hanging out with 37-year-old Yeezy? Sure, Lorde told Billboard Kanye was “her idol” and Yeezy did remix her track “Yellow Flicker Beat”, but isn’t, say, Taylor Swift, the more appropriate choice for Frenchy and chic excursions with mum?
