We hope you weren’t planning to let T-Pain know your deepest, darkest secrets because it turns out he’s not the best at keeping big news under wraps. The producer sat down for a chat with Vulture and toward the end of the interview, briefly talked about releasing a new album this September. Pretty exciting, right? Well, it seems Mr. Pain had the tea on some even juicier gossip, which he let slip.
In the interview, T-Pain lets it be known that he is a huge fan of FKA twigs, but says that he may not be able to get her to collaborate with him on his next album since “she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing.” Record scratch — whaat?
“Yeah, to ol’ Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that.” Umm, she probably didn’t, since she hasn’t dropped the news herself. But now the world knows so, what are you going to do?
We’re guessing that this isn’t some kind of April Fool’s joke, but if anything, it proves that T-Pain may not be the best guy to talk to when you’re trying to keep some information on the low.
