Colette and McDonald’s Team Up for a Capsule Collection

McDonald’s, international pusher of the Happy Meal, is getting a bit of a fashionable makeover with the help of Colette. The “food” giant and Paris-based boutique are teaming up for a capsule collection that, of course, is heavy on the McDonald’s theme. Taking inspiration from items like french fries and the Big Mac, the collection will include clothes and accessories for fans of the fast food joint who missed out on Moschino’s pricey McDonald’s-themed Fall 2014 pieces

Graphic representations of popular menu items will appear on notebooks, smartphone cases, T-shirts and totes. And while this particular range isn’t as flashy as Moschino’s, it still seems a little repetitive after how ubiquitous those fry-shaped smartphone cases were last year. But hey, if there’s still a demand for fast food fashion, who better than McDonald’s to cash in?

The collection will be available in stores and online from May 4 to 31.
