Today’s a glorious day for Australian model Simone Holtznagel, who just found herself on a gigantic Guess billboard off Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.
“Dying right now. MUM I MADE IT,” she wrote to Instagram alongside a snap of the sign. “Cannot even deal right now. First billboard. GAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! I don’t even think I can put into words how amazing/overwhelming this is but THANK YOU @paulmarciano and everyone at @guess.”
The last few months have been huge for the Australia’s Next Top Model contestant, who placed third to winner Montana Cox in 2011. After being discovered by Paul Marciano through Instagram in October 2014, Simone’s schedule has been packed. She’s been walking runways, going to pool parties in Vegas, starring in seasonal campaigns and running around the promo circuit for the label.
Guess truly was her big break, and Simone’s fans are pointing out how proud the late Charlotte Dawson, a former ANTM judge, would be. Instagram user laraaustralia1 wrote, “I am truly overwhelmed, and proud of you. Charlotte is beaming from heaven, hunny. Way to go!” while rosreines said, “Charlotte would have been so thrilled.”
