The one and only 50 Cent wants to capitalise on the pain every pre-pubescent girl felt when Zayn Malik left boy band One Direction, by launching the musician’s career in the very different world of rap.
Mirror reports that 50 Cent has invited Zayn to meet and discuss the potential of ditching mentor Simon Cowell’s SyCo label and securing a deal with him instead, so he’ll have more credibility in the hip hop realm. It is understood that 50 Cent told the ex-1D star that they could make millions by launching his solo career as a rapper.

“I want it to happen,” 50 Cent told Mirror. “I can make him a lot of money and he can make me a lot of money. The point I am making is he needs to be working with the right producers, artists, and people in the genre,” he continued. “Some of the pop star rappers are a little cringe, and he doesn’t want that.”
The business meeting, including roughly 21 questions of rapper-related enquiries, is supposedly teed up for July. Zayn quit the world’s biggest boy band for a new life as a “normal” 22-year-old, but, with something like this possibly in the works, we don’t see that happening anytime soon.
