Lisa Hyde’s The Bachelor Finale Low-Down: ‘I Can Remember the Final Rose As If It Were Yesterday’

We briefly got to met Sam’s family right at the beginning in Episode 1, and what a supporting and lovely family they were.

I knew tonight wouldn’t be too tough for the ladies, well, nothing like when Sam had to meet their families anyway. If he is still confused on who he should pick, I’m sure this will have a big impact on his decision.

Snezana, the stunning single mum from Perth meets Sam’s family first, which means Lana is up next. Filling such big shoes and going in second may not always be the best thing as you know you are being compared, but smart and bubbly Lana didn’t seem to be too worried. The only thing you can really do in this situation is be honest with yourself and try not to be too nervous.

As expected, Both Snezana and Lana fit in perfectly with Sam’s family. This is honestly a hard decision for me to choose which girl I like better. I can only imagine how hard this must be for Sam, especially because both dates run smoothly and we are still left guessing, Sam is not giving anything away. He either really doesn’t know a this stage or the producers are just very talented.

I can remember the final rose for me as if it were yesterday, mind you we were all in Africa, not Penrith. You have so many emotional ups and downs, mainly because you are so confused and trying to comprehend that your life might be about to drastically change.

I guess for me I stayed true to myself and knew whatever the outcome was, it was meant to be. One thing I can be sure to tell you is, as much as Sam is confused, Snezana and Lana would be too. Personally, I had no idea going into the final rose ceremony whether or not I was making the right decision.

Let’s take a moment to recognise how stunning both of these women are inside and out. They have both acted with maturity and kindness the whole way through, and any guy, including Sam, would be lucky to have either of them.

As we see the first car enter we know whoever steps out is not the one. Oh, the suspense. It’s Lana! Sam gives the classic break-up speech, much like the ones in the last seasons. “You’re the perfect girl, I’m just not sure if you’re the perfect girl for me.” Totally smooth, Sam.

Low and behold, our The Bachelor Season 3 couple is Snezana and Sam. I hate to say it but I picked it weeks ago! Somewhere Nina is fist pumping!

Goodnight, lovers, and congratulations to the happy couple.
