By now we know that funny man Chris Lilley can play any character he sets his mind to. A vain private school brat, a middle-aged housewife, a rebellious Tongan school boy: you name it, Chris can do it.
That’s why it’s no surprise that the Aussie comedian makes for one heck of a sexy dental nurse in Stafford Brothers’ new music video “When You Feel This”, featuring vocals from Jay Sean and rapper Rick Ross, revealing he’s a naughty girl with a bad habit, a bad habit for daydreaming about rapping turtles.

Yep, so it’s kind of weird and all-quiche, but in the best possible way, much like all of genius Chris’ ideas. He wrote, directed and produced the clip, while also playing all three of the main characters including the dental nurse, the hip hop tortoise and the Stafford Brothers themselves.
Interestingly he has never met either Chris or Matt Stafford, and admits he channelled “plenty of DJs” he’s seen over time for that particular role but still tried to get their look right through research.

“I found a photo of them for their hair. I had a bunch of wigs at home, I found the wigs that were perfectly suited to them. We had to cut them up a bit to look right. I wanted ridiculous make-up. It was supposed to be a heightened version of them,” he explained to Courier Mail.
Chris was granted total creative freedom with this project, something he believes doesn’t happen very often. “With this one I sent the idea off and thought, ‘They’re gonna hate it, it’s too weird’ and they came back and said they love it, I could do whatever I wanted to do and they were gonna back off and let me completely control. It’s so rare for that to happen with someone else’s project.”
