Before Kendall became a top model and Kylie, the sister with the most downloaded app, the two had their beloved collection for PacSun. Now, one of their first joint ventures has landed them both in legal trouble with a kopyright (sorry, had to) infringement suit.

Island Company claims Kendall, Kylie and PacSun stole its trademark logo, which has been in use since 2005: “Quit your job. Buy a ticket. Get a tan. Fall in love. Never return.” The Jenners’ version named in the lawsuit reads, “Run away. Fall in love. Never return,” which, though admittedly similar, sounds like one of the kajillion memes floating around on Instagram.
Island Company believes the PacSun version is “likely to cause confusion, mistake and deception among consumers, the public and the trade as to whether defendants’ products or services are affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by plaintiff.” The California-based company is demanding that PacSun, Kendall and Kylie stop using the trademark and pay them damages and attorney’s fees.
Both PacSun and the Jenner girls have yet to comment on the lawsuit, but Kendall took the opportunity to promote their latest collection, proving they’re pretty #unbothered:
