With Gigi Hadid already moving on from Cody Simpson with Joe Jonas, it’s only fair that the Aussie pop star can go and do the same thing. However, It seems like he’s not veering away from a particular “type”, if you will, with rumours circling that Cody is cosying up to home-grown model and Instagram sensation Sahara Ray.
The Daily Telegraph reports that Cody and Sahara, who is the daughter of surf legend Tony Ray, were spotted getting close and personal as they left a Los Angeles nightclub On The Rox. To further fuel the rumours, Sahara also featured in one of Cody’s Snapchats from over the weekend.
Cody and Gigi broke up earlier this year, with the Akubra-wearing 18-year-old revealing that the “highly publicised” relationship made him uncomfortable. “Going out to dinner and there being all this paparazzi and stuff…. as soon as we split I had the realisation that I was straying away from who I was as a whole person. I want to keep it low key, and focus on my music,” he told DuJour.
Sahara is pretty hot stuff right now; both her looks and booming modelling/designing career. We know his recently released single says “new girl, new problems”, but, if these rumours are true, he could be running into the same issues all over again.
