One look at their Instagram pictures from the Chanel show, in Barbados or at the Met gala, and it’s clear Rihanna and Cara Delevingne are partners in crime. The dynamic duo is taking their never-ending party from the red carpet to the silver screen with the new movie Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.

The sci-fi flick finds Cara playing Laureline and Rihanna in a not-yet-announced “big” role, according to director Luc Besson. Rih and Cara join Clive Owen (as Commander Arün Filitt) and Dane DeHaan, who plays Valerian. The fantasy film hits theaters July 2017 and filming begins this January in France. Can you imagine how much fun they’re going to have on set? We want to apply to be production assistants just to hang out with those two.
