Aussie model Kyly Clarke and her husband, cricket veteran Michael Clarke, have welcome their first child, a baby girl, into the world.
TODAY host Karl Stefanovic blurted out the news or air this morning, citing a “very good source” for the heartwarming information. “So I do have some very good news to report that has just come through to me,” the presenter read.
“It is breaking news of the very best kind — and I can report to you all back in Australia that from a very good source, that former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke and his beautiful wife Kyly have just had a baby girl.” Karl continued to explain that despite the newborn being five weeks premature, both bub and mum are “in good health”.
Michael and Kyly have been married since May 2012 and announced their pregnancy in June.
UPDATE: Michael and Kyly both confirmed the news on social media yesterday, thanking everyone for the well wishes and assuring us that everyone is in good health. Michael announced the baby’s name on Instagram today, saying, “Heaven! Kelsey Lee you are my angel” with a picture of his and Kyly’s hand next to bub.
