The year might be coming to an end but the “Hotling Bling” craze isn’t over just yet. Adding to the selection of gifs, mashups, memes and covers of Drake’s catchy track, the good sports over at W Magazine have rounded up 13 celebrities to perform a dramatic reading of the megahit.
The likes of Amy Schumer, Kristen Wiig, Seth Rogen, Bryan Cranston, Joel Edgerton and more are involved in interpreting lines like “You used to call me on my cell phone” and “That can only mean one thing” in their own unique actor and comedian ways. Elizabeth Banks even serves up “Late night when you need my love” with some rap flavour, which is kind of weird but mildly entertaining.
While the concept might seem totally random, it’s really not, as the advanced dancer, i.e. Drake, is actually the cover star of W Art‘s latest issue. Plus, who are we to complain? This is gold. Watch it above.
