Hollister and Sit With Us Team Up for a Campaign Against Bullying

Anti-bullying app Sit With Us has recently partnered with Abercrombie & Fitch Co.’s Hollister for an apparel collection that aims to “promote kindness and inclusion at lunch in middle school [and] high school cafeterias.”

Launched in 2016, the highly acclaimed app is the brainchild of CEO Natalie Hampton, resulting from her traumatic encounter with bullying in middle school. She said that, apart from the violence and verbal abuse, being alone at lunchtime felt all the more isolating and embarrassing for the teenage girl.

“After I changed schools, whenever I saw someone eating lunch alone, I would always invite the person to join the group,” she said on the app’s official website. “Each time, the person’s face would light up, and the look of relief would wash over the person’s face.” Hampton adds that some of the people she sat with have now become her close friends.

Hollister has been a staunch advocate against bullying, having already endorsed five prior campaigns for the cause. Artist Khalid is also featured in the brand’s campaign, sharing his story of exile when he was a senior in high school.

The collection is already available for order online with prices ranging from $19.95 to $24.95.
