Charlize Theron’s contract with Christian Dior remains ironclad, and it’s remarkable to fathom it has been a whole twenty years in 2024 in which the actress signed on the dotted line as the face of Dior’s most celebrated fragrance: J’adore. Since 2004 (when Charlize first posed for the insanely iconic Nick Knight-shot campaign), Charlize has graced umpteen campaigns and filmed countless commercials for the French fashion house’s signature scent, and is back once more for Dior’s latest L’Or de J’adore installment.
The scent heralds Francis Kurkdijan’s first as Dior Parfum Creation Director, and is a delicate floral reincarnation of the perfume which was originally released back in 1999. In the accompanying campaign image (above), the South African-American beauty stuns in a gorgeous and effortless photograph, wearing a shimmering gold dress designed by Christian Dior’s womenswear creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri.
