The moment we’ve been anticipating since February is finally upon us: Vogue World: Paris is tonight! In only a matter of hours, Vogue will take over the iconic Place Vendôme for this year’s fashion extravaganza. If last year’s Vogue World: London is anything go by, we’re in for an absolute treat.
This year’s buzz-worthy showcase is set to be an outright celebration and fusion of fashion and sport (ahead of the Paris Olympic Games which commence Friday, July 26). Youth athletic academies from throughout France will take part, including gymnastics, tennis, fencing, and break dancing, among others. These sports will be paired with the theme of French fashion for every decade since 1924, when the French capital last hosted the Olympic games.
You can expect performances from Bad Bunny, Aya Nakamura and megawatt fashion from just about every major name in French fashion, including: Balenciaga, Balmain, Chanel, Christian Dior, Jacquemus, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lacoste, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Marine Serre, Saint Laurent – and more! BFFs Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are both set to make an appearance riding horseback.
