The intricately patterned Mary Katrantzou dress is definitely not a typical choice for Keira but she is being styled by Leith Clark, who worked with Kirsten Dunst on all of her standout ensembles in Cannes (and also styles Michelle Williams), so it’s clear that she’s out to make an impression. “Leith Clark is a flawless stylist,” wrote kylenrose. “After seeing what she did with Dunst in Cannes, I am so excited to see her really take Keira Knightley on a press tour like she will in Venice and Toronto!”
Malfreya couldn’t get over Keira’s look. She exclaimed, “I need an emoticon where the jaw drops because OMG she’s stunning!!”
I was overwhelmed by all of the mixed prints and patterns when I saw images of Mary Katrantzou’s Fall 2011 runway show – it was even counted among the London Fashion week “Misses” by forum members last season, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised whenever I’ve seen her clothes worn by celebrities. This dress suits Keira beautifully and I love that she is supporting a lesser-known designer. I think we’ll have a lot more great looks from Keira to look forward to as the film festival and subsequent press tours continue.
