Mordant thought Emma looked “freakin’ adorable. I love the peplum,” she added.
YoninahAliza posted, “Emma looks divine! Loving the Jason Wu top (so excited to see her wearing one of his designs) paired with the skirt. And that clutch is a pretty neat idea. Overall, I’m really pleased with Emma’s look. It’s totally flattering and makes her look very elegant.”
The outfit was generally met with praise, but Emma’s hair was a bit more debatable. “I think her hair is perfectly styled for the event and look, given what they had to work with,” rustforareason commented. “However, I do dislike it at this length (which has persisted for far too long). It’s unflattering and makes her look sloppy most of the time,” she added.
“I had to stare at her hair for a few seconds to determine if I liked it, but I think it’s styled just right for this look,” sobriquet87 decided.
So, overall it was a job well done with the premiere outfit. Now where was Marilyn herself, Michelle Williams?
